2. Indicative figures only — not financial advice
The cost widget and everything else on this site produce indications, not quotations. They are arithmetic performed on figures you supply, using assumptions that are displayed on screen (including, where you give a volume range rather than an exact number, the midpoint of that range).
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, and nothing on it is a regulated financial promotion or a recommendation to enter into, vary or terminate any agreement. We are not authorised to give financial advice. Before you act on anything here — particularly anything involving a finance agreement, its tax treatment, or ending a contract early — take advice from a suitably qualified professional such as your accountant or solicitor, and read your own contract.
3. Accuracy of the information
We work hard to keep the guides and explanations on this site accurate and up to date, but printing contracts vary enormously and the market changes. We don't warrant that the content is complete, current or applicable to your particular situation. Your own paperwork always takes precedence over anything we've written in general terms.
Any figure you give us is taken at face value. We can't check whether you've read your invoice correctly, and an indication built on a wrong input will be a wrong indication.
4. Our service
If you submit an enquiry, we'll look at what a comparable contract costs in the current market and come back to you. That's a free service to you.
We are not a supplier, a lessor, a finance provider or a broker of finance. We don't sell, lease or service equipment. Where you go on to enter into an agreement with a supplier we've introduced you to, that agreement is between you and them — we aren't a party to it, and we have no control over the terms you ultimately agree.
We may be paid a commission or introduction fee by a supplier if you sign an agreement following an introduction from us. We'd rather say that plainly than have you discover it later.
5. Using the site
You agree not to:
- submit false details, or someone else's details without their permission;
- use the enquiry form to send spam or anything unlawful, abusive or defamatory;
- attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security, or to extract data from it by automated means.
We apply basic rate limiting to the enquiry form to keep it usable for everyone. If you're a real person and it gets in your way, just email us.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the site available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any business losses — including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of data — arising from your use of this site or from reliance on any indication, guide or figure published on it.
This site is aimed at businesses. If you're using it as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these terms.
8. Intellectual property
The content, design, illustrations and code on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You're welcome to read, print and share pages for your own business purposes. Please don't republish substantial parts of it as your own.
9. Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, it's because we think it's useful. We don't control those sites and we aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out separately in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the “last updated” date at the top tells you when it changed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
